Unperforated concave ultrasonic transducer. In the treatment of adipose tissue, the enlargement of the focal area is favourable, so as to partially benefit the overlying tissue. The cooling of the ultrasonic emitter is achieved by means of a hydraulic circuit that allows the water to circulate and actively cool the transducer. | The operational stability of the transducer is safeguarded during the entire treatment. Active cooling helps to increase the emission power of the piezoelectric component; indeed, it is known that an excessive increase in temperature reduces the quality factor of the piezoelectric component during the operating process. The lifespan of the transducer is extended and guaranteed up to 20,000 scan lines, unlike common transducers that have a very limited functioning lifespan. Exposure to thermal stimulus / pulse duration extends up to 200ms. This feature, encourages the diffusion of heat near the point of focus. |
